U23 Program

Program Overview 

Sockers FC U23's emphasizes personal development, with the expectation that players will leave with improved fitness, speed, endurance, technique, heightened tactical awareness and an indefinable attitude on the field & better prepare you for your upcoming college seasons. (Some) of last years participating schools included - NIU, UIC, Loyola, DePaul, Bradley, Lewis University.

Congratulations to previous years' Alumni (2011), Christian Meza of Bradley University, who signed his first professional contract in the USL Pro League.

Program can include:

•       2+ practices weekly - (Morning/Afternoon's) Olympic Park - Schaumburg, IL
•       1 - 2 games per week
•       U23 League
•       U20 League
•       U19 League
•       Metro League
•       Summer Tournaments
•       Weekly Nike SPARQ Testing - Track your progression throughout the summer.
•       Competitive training games with the Bridges FC program

Dates:

Start Date - May 15th, 2013
End Date - July 19th, 2013

Cost U23 - $350 + Training gear costs.
Sockers FC U19 - $150

How to Register?

Step 1: Create an online account (parent)

1. Go to the MY Sam link Click here.
2. If you are new to MySam, go to item #2 under "New Customer Registration"
3. Enter in an email address you want associated with your family account
4. Click "Sign Up".
5. You will be taken to the "Customer Account Page"
6. Fill out form completely. Add ALL of your children at this time, even if they will not be registering for a soccer team.
7. Make a note of your new password.
8. You will receive a confirmation email.
9. Click the link within the email to confirm your registration.

You are all finished and ready for "Step 2" below.

Step 2:  Register for Tryouts

1. Go to the MY Sam link Click here
2. Log in to your MySam account
3. Click register
4. Click “classes/camps/clinics”
5. Select the “player” you wish to register
6.In the blue box make sure the "Location is Sockers FC"
7. Under results – click the appropriate “register” for U23 League
8. Select your payment option and check the appropriate medical/allergy option
Click “checkout” and proceed to complete registration. Once payment is made you will be placed onto a roster.
