College Placement

Soccer players have so many decisions and opportunities when thinking about moving towards college. College placement is so important because of the education that will be gained during the time a player spends at an institution. But college can provide so many opportunities for our players through soccer, so finding the right choice is vital.

Process

Sockers FC have developed a process that invests in your child’s future. The goal is to make the recrutiing process an enjoyable one and the process involves the player, family, the club and college coaching staff.

Sockers FC will assist with building a strong list of schools for our players to actively work with. During the process we will help and perform:

Planning and reminders of important dates in the calendar
- NCAA/NAIA clearinghouse
- ACT test dates
- Communication of regulations for the NCAA/NAIA
Seminars - informational (Processes, College Life, Soccer in College)
ACT Preparation classes (club specific classes through sign up)
College Combines (exposure to the college environment)
College Showcases (exposure to college coaching staff)
College Fitness Camps (for Seniors during the summer)
Events selection (specific player rostering for showcase competition)
Communication to college coaching staff.
Set up phone calls, meetings, school visits etc.
Active and current logs of player status, choice and selections.

There are no regualations with regards coach to coach communications so Sockers FC can faciliatate specific key actions to assist the process operate more smoothly. We are building great relationships with many colleges who appreciate the structured program we have developed. For more information click here.

Our college placement program is still developing and the objective is that Sockers FC is a full service program that deters players from signing up to agencies that do not know your players personally.

Player Profiles

Sockers FC works with Playerocity to build player profiles for college recruitment. Playerocity has allowed Sockers to manage our players in a manner that produces the most success. Players can edit and add information as their process develops. Playerocity is a free website and an important part of the recruiting process. Profile sheets are printed and distributed to all college coaches any showcase type event.
