2009/2010 Sockers Tryout Information

Tryouts will be held at both Soccer City, Palatine and Olympic Park, Schaumburg

Tryout registration fee is $25 for all non-Sockers members

Includes - 1 ½ ( 1:15 ) hour training session and a t-shirt

Basic Program

- Boys and Girls U07 thru U12:

     Outdoor season...  Starts Second week of August

• Two practices per week 

• One League game per week

• Three tournaments (Seeding, Fall and Spring Nike Classic Cup)

     Indoor season... Starts in the beginning of November

• Two practices per week 

• One  indoor game per week

• Optional programs like 3x3 league, J-League and clinics will be available at extra cost.

- Boys and Girls U13 thru U14:

     Outdoor season...  Starts Second week of August

• Three practices per week 

• One League game per week

• Three tournaments (Seeding, Fall and Spring Nike Classic Cup)

• MRL, State Cup and any additional tournaments are not include in the fees.

- Girls U15 thru U18:

     Outdoor season...  Starts Second week of August

• Two practices per week at Olympic Pk and Soccer City.

•  One or two games per week at Olympic Pk and Soccer City.

• Three tournaments, Fall and Spring Nike Classic Cup

• MRL, State Cup, Top Talent and any additional tournaments are not include in the fees.

    Indoor season... Starts in the beginning of November

All Players wishing to become members of Sockers FC Chicago must either attend the annual open tryouts or have permission from their current team manager to attend a special training session.

Information for the tryouts will be posted on the Sockers website, flyers, and brochures available in the facility.  Every session is customized and implemented by program directors periodically.  In some instances, names of accepted players will be posted on the website.
